Book: Man’s Ruin
Author: Nicola R. White
Genre: Sexy Romantic Suspense

Magdalene is a mob-connected madam. Tommy Flynn is the hitman who loves her. And when they’re framed for the murder of a rival crime boss’s favorite son, Magdalene fears the sins of her past have come back to haunt her. After spending half a lifetime in a seamy underworld where love is for sale and men worship at the altar of sex and greed, claiming sanctuary in a cathedral is the last thing she wants to do – and the only chance she has to find out who set her up.
With all clues pointing to Magdalene’s ex-lover, a working girl called Lola, the legendary madam is reluctant to trust Tommy, a smooth-talking hired gun, and risk being burned again. But as time grows short and secrets are revealed, Magdalene will have to look into the dark places inside herself if she is to catch a killer and survive with body and soul intact.
In the corrupt city of Crawley, Massachusetts, passion, crime and religion collide in this steamy, neo-noir romantic thriller.

“Not So Temporarily Married” by Fiona Davenport *Release Blast*

“Not So Temporarily Married” by Fiona Davenport *Release Blast*

Not So Temporarily Married
Contemporary/Erotic Romance

*Available on Kindle Unlimited*
Zoe Elliot has resisted
Landon Heath’s advances, only because he’s her boss and she needs her job to
keep her work visa. But when she’s in danger of being deported, she agrees to
his crazy suggestion of getting married… temporarily, of course.
Landon wants the beautiful
Canadian for his own, and he’s not above using her situation to tie her to
him—permanently. He knows he has to move quickly, before she realizes they’re not
so temporarily married.

I dug through the
pile and found the envelope she was referring to at the bottom. It was impossible
to miss with US Citizenship and Immigration Services listed on the upper left
“Crap. Crap. Crap,”
I chanted to myself as I tore it open. Then it turned to “fuck, fuck, fuck” as
my heart dropped. I read through the letter quickly the first time around, and
then much more slowly to make sure I wasn’t misunderstanding what it said.
Unfortunately, the meaning didn’t change the second time around.
“I’m fucked,” I
“Not yet you
aren’t,” Landon growled from the door as he barged into my office and slammed
it shut. “If you were, I’d know it because I’d be the one doing the fucking.”
His raspy voice slid
over my skin and heated it. Just the sound of him talking had my panties wet,
and I’d been avoiding him all this time because I’d thought he’d be the reason
why I had visa problems.
“All those wasted
opportunities,” I muttered.
“Not wasted,” he
corrected. “Foreplay.”
“I don’t have time
for this right now, Landon. Not when my whole world is falling apart,” I cried,
waving the letter in the air.
“You sound as bad
as Samantha did when she told me to get my ass in here.” He tore it from my
hands, and I dropped my head to my desk while he read through the letter.
“It’s just an
additional interview, Zoe,” he said soothingly, in a failed attempt to calm me
“My visa was approved by an
immigration officer at the border two months ago. It was easy peasy. I showed
him my TN visa application letter, my bachelor’s degree, and my passport. I
answered some questions about how long I planned to stay in the country. About how
often I planned to go home to see my family. Boom, I was approved. Which means
they shouldn’t have any additional questions for me,” I retorted as I jumped to
my feet and paced back and forth. “Except, someone apparently has it in for me
since they received a tip that I lied about my intent to stay here for only
three years. Who would do something like that?”
“Calm the fuck
down,” he ordered, as though it was that simple.
“Calm down?” I
parroted. “That’s easy for you to say since you’re not the one in danger of
being deported!”
“Neither are you.”
“I beg to
differ”—I stormed towards him and jabbed my finger in his chest, absently
noticing how firm it was—“since an appointment at an immigration field office
sure sounds like the start to yanking my work visa to me.”
“You know what?”
he drawled. “Don’t calm down. Feel free to freak the fuck out because in the
end that will work out even better for me.”
“What in the heck
are you talking about?”
“I’m talking about
you and me, Zoe. You’ve been denying what’s happening between us for two,
fucking long as hell months,” he growled, his eyes lit with determination.
“You’ve used your work visa as an excuse to keep yourself away from me. Well
guess what, Blondie? Giving in to me is your way out of this mess.”
“I still have
absolutely no idea what you mean. Maybe you can dumb it down for me since I’m
blonde and all,” I muttered sarcastically, not a big fan of his nickname for
“Fine,” he bit
out. “I’ll make it as simple as one word—marriage.”
“What? No,” I
gasped. “We haven’t even been out on a date!”
“And whose fault
is that?” he countered. “It certainly wasn’t for a lack of trying on my part.
If I’d had my way, you wouldn’t have a single doubt about how damn serious I

K Webster is the author of dozens romance books in many different genres including contemporary romance, historical romance, paranormal romance, and erotic romance. When not spending time with her husband of twelve years and two adorable children, she’s active on social media connecting with her readers.

Her other passions besides writing include reading and graphic design. K can always be found in front of her computer chasing her next idea and taking action. She looks forward to the day when she will see one of her titles on the big screen.

You can easily find K Webster on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, and Goodreads!

About Ker Dukey

My books all tend to be darker romance, edge of you seat, angst filled reads. My advice to my readers when starting one of my titles…prepare for the unexpected.

I have always had a passion for storytelling, whether it be through lyrics or bed time stories with my sisters growing up.

My mum would always have a book in her hand when I was young and passed on her love for reading, inspiring me to venture into writing my own. I tend to have a darker edge to my writing. Not all love stories are made from light; some are created in darkness but are just as powerful and worth telling.

When I’m not lost in the world of characters I love spending time with my family. I’m a mum and that comes first in my life but when I do get down time I love attending music concerts or reading events with my younger sister.

Come find me on Facebook, where I love interacting with my readers.

“Words I Couldn’t Say” by Tessa Teevan *RELEASE BLITZ & REVIEW*

“Words I Couldn’t Say” by Tessa Teevan *RELEASE BLITZ & REVIEW*

Title: Words I Couldn’t Say
Series: Promise in Prose #1
Author: Tessa Teevan
Release Date: Nov 22, 2016
Genre: Standalone Contemporary Romance
You know the old adage “if you love something, set it free?”

It’s the dumbest thing I’ve ever heard.

The dumbest thing I’ve ever done.

I loved her. I lost her. Hell, I let her go. And then spent five miserable years without her.

To cope with the loss, I put pen to paper and wrote her a love story, knowing when she was ready she’d hear the words I couldn’t say all those years ago.

Turned out, not only would she hear them, but when Hollywood came calling, I made sure she got the lead role. After all, no one else could portray the character whom she’d inspired.

Now she’s within arms’ reach and finally, she’ll know the truth in my heart.

Because that other cliché, “Actions speak louder than words?”

I’m going to prove it.

My words may have brought Ava Banks back into my life; I have to be enough to make her stay.

The air around us was silent save for the crickets chirping off in the distance. The cool Cincinnati breeze nipped at my skin while I waited for his reaction. When I’d started writing this novel, it had been an ode to my past love. My past life. But then it’d taken on a life of its own and become so much more. Which had made it that much more poignant. That much harder to fathom the one word that’d been haunting me for years.
At long last, he turned to the final page and sucked in a breath. My stomach twisted in knots because he was about to read the end. And I didn’t know how he’d interpret it. Half scared he’d tell me that I’d lost my mind and no one would ever want to read this story, especially with that ending.
He didn’t make me wait long. As his head slowly rose, I was taken aback at the tears shining in his usually cheerful eyes. This man, who had always been like a second father to me, had been reduced to tears by my words. My words. Words we both knew for whom they were meant. And, instead of calling me a fool or attempting to kill me, he watched me with tearful appreciation, switching between nodding and shaking his head as if trying to process it all.
I didn’t know how to react, so I simply stared at him, waiting for him to say something. Anything.
He closed the manuscript and set it on the table in front of us before taking a long swig from his whiskey glass. I followed suit and enjoyed the smoky burn that did little to soothe my nerves.
“Jesus Christ,” he muttered, his eyes locking in on mine. “Tucker. You did it. You fucking did it,” he whispered, seemingly unashamed of his emotional display.
I nodded, the same emotion welling up inside me when I remembered the ending of my first novel. So many love stories begin with the girl who got away. Mine wasn’t any different. Not only in my novel, but in real life as well. Ava Banks was, and always would be, that girl for me. But, instead of slipping through my fingers, she’d made the conscious decision to leave. And, like most dumbass men, I’d let her. Hell, I’d pushed her away. I’d regretted it ever since.
But, now, I was hoping like hell I could get the second chance Trevor did. Hoping like hell my story would turn out differently than his. But, either way, I was putting myself out there, as terrifying as that was. She finally, finally would hear the words I couldn’t say all those years ago.
Now, I just had to wait to see what she’d do about it.

5 Little Bird Loving Stars!!!!

I just finished this book and let me just say I am beyond giddy happy.  My two favorite story lines in books is friends to lovers and second chance romance… well guess what?!  This book has both!!!!!  Color this book whore so very happy!!!

We always knew Ava was fated for great things from the moment we met her adorable and determined little self in prior books.  Well little Ava is all grown up and wants on the big screen and she is going to make it happen, as if any of us ever doubted her lol…  Only thing is in order to live her bigger than big dream she has to give up her heart.  Que the tissues… Ava does what she thinks is best at the time and makes the ultimate sacrifice, but she is never truly happy.

Tucker has been in love with Ava Banks since he was 8 years old.  There is no one else for him except for Ava, he has known it his entire life.  Unfortunately, the universe had different plans for Tucker and his precious Ava and they are taken away from each for a long time.  Thank the heavens above that Tucker is resilient and hatches a plan when the time is right and is determined to get his girl back!

This is a story of friendship, love, second chances and over the top romance!  Ava and Tucker were amazing together!  I laughed, I cried, I swooned and in the end I was so very happy.   Thanks for a fabulous story, Ms. Teevan!

Tessa Teevan is a twenty-something book junkie who is also obsessed with sports. Bengals, Buckeyes, Reds are who she spends her time rooting for. She’s a research analyst by day, reads/writes by night, and is married to a guy 15 inches taller than her, making them quite the pair! They currently reside just outside of Dayton, OH with two adorably grumpy cats.
If she’s not writing or scouring through tons of photos of hot men, all in the name of research, then you can probably find her curled up with her Kindle, ignoring the rest of the world. She loves her sports almost as much as she loves her books. Her other obsessions include red wine, hot men, rock music, and all things Corey Taylor.
She adores hearing from readers, so please feel free to contact via any social media site listed below.

“Fractures In Ink” by Helena Hunting *Blog Tour & Review*

“Fractures In Ink” by Helena Hunting *Blog Tour & Review*

Fractures in Ink by Helena Hunting
Publication Date: November 14th, 2016
Genre: Contemporary Romance

FIInk HH Cover (1).jpg

Sometimes the things we shouldn’t want become exactly what we need . . .

Waitressing at a seedy strip club isn’t ideal, but it pays Sarah Adamson’s tuition. Her goal is to finish her master’s program and get a job that doesn’t involve tight skirts and groping hands. She doesn’t need distractions. Especially not the one that comes in the form of a hot-as-sin tattoo artist who works across the street from her apartment.

Kicked out at sixteen, and a high school dropout, Chris Zelter is familiar with wanting things he can’t have. His fractured life has never been easy. As the product of someone else’s bad decisions, he knows exactly what happens when the wrong person controls your marionette strings. Now an accomplished tattoo artist in a renowned studio in Chicago, Chris has it together.

Apart from his infatuation with Sarah. She’s way out of his league, and Chris knows it.

But he’s willing to be her bad decision. At least for now.

I’d been seeking out Chris as much as I could lately, even though he was worried about my lack of sleep. My feelings for him had become like weeds, growing faster than I could contain them. I should’ve been protecting my heart instead of trying to hand it over so it could be crushed later.

So tonight, instead of pushing him to talk about whatever was making him hurt, I let him have what he wanted: an escape. I could be that.

I was exactly that every night I worked in the club. I was my customers’ escape from life, from the wives who ignored them, or from the girlfriends who didn’t exist. I smiled and batted my eyelashes and pretended their lewd comments were funny.

Tonight I could easily be whatever Chris needed, and if that was naked and a distraction from the things outside of his control, so be it. Or that’s what I told myself as I pushed his boxers over his hips.

My clothing took a little longer to remove since I was fully dressed. Chris wasn’t as slow as usual, or gentle. There was an urgency in him I’d never experienced before. What he wouldn’t give me in words, he gave me in actions. Desperation leaked through, making him frantic as he pulled my shirt over my head and fought with the clasp on my bra.

“Fuck,” he groaned. “I just wanna get my hands on all of you.”

I brushed him away, taking care of the bra for him. Sitting on the edge of the bed, I opened my legs and welcomed him between them. He locked shaking fingers around the waistband of my jeans and paused, his expression clouding.

“You sure you’re okay with this?”

“With you wanting me?” I popped the button.

He lifted his gaze. “I fucking need you.”

I shivered at his tone, wishing it indicated a different kind of need—a sustained one that was more than physical. But I pushed the feelings down, locked them inside my aching heart, and released my zipper. “Then you should have me.”

One could ask themselves if talking to fictional character while reading a book was odd. I would answer with a resounding NO. I did just that with Fractures In Ink. This book was just so….so….REAL! I’ve read so many books with these billionaire CEO’s, and self made millionaires, and trust me I love those books, but every so often it’s books like this one where you get the fantasy, but you get something you can truly relate too and it is so close to real life.

I am not sure if that makes sense because I love books that provide fantasy and there is plenty of sexy hot fantasy (waggles eyebrows), but here Helena gives us Chris, a guy from a rough background and works as a tattoo artist. He has a charm about him. Something I couldn’t place as cocky, but it was more like and understated confidence. He pays his bills, helps his family who is equally dealing with some things and he took it all in stride. Then there is Sara who is struggling in her own right, with college, an internship and a job. She wasn’t weak by any means, and you could always get a sense of strength from within with her.

I think it was the struggle between these two that gripped me most as a reader. I found myself talking to them, saying things like, “No, Chris don’t do that”, or “Sara, come on girl you got to get out of this!” I became a cheerleader for these two. I loved the cast of characters, Ivy, Hayden, Tenley, Lisa, and Jamie. I lived in this world with these people while I read.

We get a love story, of course, but there is so much more substance to latch onto also with this read. You get ups and downs, fears, blackmail, and everything in between.   There was enough pull in this book that kept me from wanting to put it down. It was heart melting fabulous and just an amazing read.
